Adding to the list of tragic incidents, Bihar has reported a case of gangrape with a woman who was then thrown into the river along with her 5-year-old. The incident took place in Buxar and reportedly, the locals were able to save the life woman but couldn't save her son, according to the report of India Times,
As per the details, the mother-son duo was on their way to a bank when they were kidnapped. They were taken to a remote area where the accused raped her.
Following the rape, they both were thrown into the river by the accused.

On hearing the screams, the locals reached the spot and saved her. However, they were not able to save the child.
The police has recorded the statement of the victim's husband and the probe is underway. Notably, one accused has been detained and police is looking for other accused who is absconding.
