First lady's farewell message ahead of Biden-Harris inauguration

Melania Trump, the first lady of US released a farewell message on Monday two days before the President of US, Donald Trump is going to leave the office on Wednesday.

As per several experts, she remains unfazed of the criticism that her husband has been receiving in the office due to the US Capitol riots of January 6. People who are in touch with first lady have said that Melania wanted to attend Biden's inauguration ceremony but due to unwanted circumstances, she is now looking at her exit and working towards facilitating the transition of power and Biden's entry in the White House.

In a seven minute farewell video message, she said she was humbled to be the first lady and it was the greatest honor of her life.

As per a report published in Washington Post, she didn't address the Capitol riot or her husband's alleged involvement in it. Melania in the video urged people to be passionate about everything they do and asked them to remember that violence could never be a solution.

She advised Americans to, "focus on what unites us... raise above what divides us to always choose love over hatred, peace over violence and others before yourself."

"Together, as one national family, we can continue to be the light of hope for future generations and carry on America's legacy of rising our nation to greater heights through our spirit of courage, goodness and fate," Melania added.

Melania is going to be involved in the site selection and planning of Trump Presidential library in Florida. Ivanka Trump, her step-daughter has purchased a home in Florida and she has expressed a desire to design a library.

Melania Trump, perhaps, likes to be seen distinctly from her husband's stance on several issues as per several experts and people who are in touch with her.

In the last minute of the video she said no words can express the depth...for the privilege of having served as America's first lady. In the end she said, "To all the people of this country, you'll be in my heart, forever. Thank you, God bless you. God bless the United States of America."
