'Fleeing Amritpal Singh changed his clothes in Gurudwara & left without his sword': IGP Sukhchain Gill

The crackdown against Amritpal Singh entered its 4th day and still there is not much clue about him. Punjab Police has increased its manhunt to find Waris Punjab De Chief and certain evidence has also surfaced regarding the same. IGP Sukhchain Singh Gill conducted a press conference on Tuesday at around 5 pm and made several revelations about Amritpal Singh’s arrest. The information given by him has raised several eyebrows. He, at first gave information about the close associates that are currently in police custody and the acts under which they have been booked. Till now, police have arrested 122 people, of which 7 have been sent to Assam’s Dibrugarh.

Another shocking revelation made by Sukhchain Singh Gill was about Amritpal Singh’s escape. He stated that Amritpal Singh changed his car to save himself from the police and went to Nangal Ambia in Brezza. He further added that Amritpal Singh changes his entire look in a gurudwara of Nagal Ambia village so that no one recognizes him. IGP Gill said that he changes his clothes and wore a shirt and pants. Amritpal Singh left his sword in the gurudwara of Nangal Ambia only. Post this, he along with other associates escaped from there riding on a motorcycle. Police received this information from the 4 arrested who were present with Amritpal Singh during escape.

Apart from this, IGP Sukhchain Singh Gill also released a series of photos of Amritpal Singh with different looks hinting that the Waris Punjab De Chief might have changed his looks to dodge the Police. However, IGP Sukhchain Gill stated that what attire or look Amritpal Singh is currently possessing can only be known after his arrest.
