In shocking news from the US, CCTV footage from a CVS store in Florida shows a brave father donning the cape of superheroes and saving his son’s life by fighting off his kidnapper. The footage is now subsequently going viral on Social Media.
In the video, the child could be seen leaving the store with his parents when suddenly, 26-year-old Nicolas Sternaman grabs the child from behind and attempts to escape with him. Fortunately, the kid’s father springs into action and attacks the kidnapper subsequently saving his child’s life. Sternaman than flees the scene but, according to reports, was arrested by the Miami police a few blocks down the road.
According to reports, the father and a witness followed the accused after he exited the block for a few blocks. After some time, the local police joined in on their chase which led to the arrest of the accused.
Sternaman was taken to the Miami-Dade County Jail where he was booked for kidnapping a child under the age of 13 and aggravated abuse. He was arrested earlier in January on a petty theft charge and was released on $150 bond, and has a pending trial on for that misdemeanor case on April 1.
