
Witha view to mobilize the officials ofeducation department of Jalandhar district to focus on achieving the ‘MissioinShat Pratishat’ in the ensuing Board Examinations, a motivational meeting washeld here at Meritorious School today.
NodalIncharges, Zila Sikhiya Sudhar Team, District Mentors, Block Mentors ofdifferent subjects, among others, attended the meeting. While addressing themeeting, Salinder Singh, Assistant Director, SCERT, exhorted them to dedicate themselves to achieve Mission Shat Pratishat and asked them to concentrate on upgradingthe level of education and learning outcomes of the weak students and monitorthe meritorious students properly sothat result could be improved qualitatively.
Heappreciated the officials, school heads and teachers for taking mission shatpratishat on priority and prepare for upcoming final exams in the rightperspective.
Hesaid the Punjab state had taken the lead in the country by making optimumutilization of latest digital applications for providing quality educationfacilities at the door steps of the students under "Ghar BaitheSikhiya" programme during the unprecedented pandemic.
ThePunjab Education Department had launched various innovative initiatives like DailySlides, Word of the Day, English Booster Clubs, Buddy Groups and virtual PTMs tokeep in constant touch with the students and parents during the Pandemic.
“Allthe heads and principals are motivating the students to attend schools andthousands of teachers are taking extra classes by adhering to COVID-19precautions”, he said.
Healso interacted with the Nodal incharges, DMs and BMs and took stock of themicro planning made by them to achieve the desired goal.
