Mumbai: On Friday Indian Rupee appreciated by 31 paise to 70.04 against the US dollar after increased selling of the American currency by exporters and banks.
A strong opening of the domestic equity markets gave a boost to the Indian unit, dealers said.The local unit recorded intra day high and low at 70.12 and 69.95 respectively
