On Monday night, former Cabinet Minister Ajit Singh Kohar's nephew, in Jalandhar, shot himself. The manager of a cooperative bank, Nirmal Singh, got into a nighttime argument with a member of the family. He apparently took this step at his home in the Kohad Khurd area around 9 p.m.
Nirmal Singh Kohad had a fight with a member of his family. After which he shot himself with his licensed revolver. DSP Gurpreet Singh Gill and Inspector Gurinderjit Singh Nagra arrived at the scene and began their inquiry after learning about the event.
