Four IPS officers transferred in Punjab

IPS Ishwar Singh, who was posted as ADGP Law and Order, is now given the charge of ADGP Admin, Punjab, Chandigarh, the order stated.

Four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers were transferred in Punjab with immediate effect on Sunday, according to an official order.


Gaurav Yadav, who was holding the post of ADGP Admin, Punjab, Chandigarh, has been shifted as the ADGP Law and Order, Punjab, Chandigarh, whereas IPS Ishwar Singh, who was posted as ADGP Law and Order, is now given the charge of ADGP Admin, Punjab, Chandigarh, the order stated.


Two more IPS officers - Jatinder Singh Aulakh and Shive Kumar Verma have been given new postings.

Jatinder Singh Aulakh is now IGP Intelligence, Punjab, SAS Nagar, whereas Shive Kumar Verma, is given the charge of IGP Ferozpur Range, Ferozpur.
