4-year-old little boy distributes biscuits to farmers protesting at Delhi-Ghazipur border

The boy was spotted at the Delhi-Ghazipur border with his father as he distributed biscuits and bananas to the protesting farmers.

Amid the massive farmers' protest at the Delhi-Ghazipur border, we have witnessed many people coming forward to serve the farmers. In one such example, a four-year-old boy was seen turning heads after he distributed food among the protesting farmers over the weekend.

Several people, groups and organisations are arranging food for the farmers who are protesting and living under the harsh winter. 

Rehaan, 4, was spotted at the Delhi-Ghazipur border with his father as he distributed biscuits and bananas to the protesting farmers. Rehan belongs to Vaishali. He and his father Mehtab Alam, have been visiting the site of the protest daily and giving food to the farmers. 

Mehtab Alam, "We are distributing snacks as I come from a farmer's family in Bihar. There are so many farmers and we felt they must be facing problems. So, we try to come to the venue daily and help them.”

Rehan wanted to accompany his father Mehtab Alam's to the protesting site on Sunday and after distributing food, Rehan said that he will visit the farmers again.

Mehtab Alam earns Rs 20,000 per month and purchases food items for distribution from his income.

"I feel delighted and my father would be proud and happy to see my effort," he said. 

Thousands of farmers from Punjab and Haryana, tenting at Delhi's borders are seeking the withdrawal of the new farm laws, and legal guarantees for Minimum Support Price (MSP). Farmer Unions from across the country have also raised their voices against the three farm bill 2020.
