Mumbai-Airport Covid-19-Test-Results Free-Food

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has decided to provide free food and Wi-Fi for those arriving in the city and waiting for their RT-PCR test results.

The CSMIA authorities on Tuesday in a statement mentioned that every passenger arriving at the Mumbai airport has to wait for around eight hours for the RT-PCR test results to arrive for which they are paying INR 3900.

Eight hours wait is long as well as tiresome, therefore travellers can order food according to their choice. A special menu has been arranged for the passengers. Along with hot and hygienic food, cold beverages will also be served to the passengers all the time whenever they request.

Apart from fresh food passengers will be able to use unlimited free internet till their covid results arrive.

Mumbai airport authorities had begun the RT-PCR test facility for the arriving passengers in September and as per records, by far over 8000 people have taken the COVID-19 test which combines 6910 men and 1090 women.

CSMIA said that almost 100 passengers have tested positive for the virus out of the 8000 records.
