From Actor to Police officer: Malayalam actress Revathy Sampath reveals names of people who sexually harassed her

Malayalam actor Revathy Sampath is under the limelight ever since she took her social media handles to name the people who have allegedly harassed her. The actress revealed the name on her Facebook account, the list contains the name of popular actor Siddique. Revathy said that now, she is not scared to expose the names of people in the public. 

The list contains the name of 14 high-profile people. The list features popular personalities like actor Siddique, director Rajesh Touchriver, doctor Ajay Prabhakar and many more. She has also mentioned the name of DYFI leader Nandu Ashokan.

While naming the people who harassed her, Revathy wrote, “This list comprises of people who have sexually, mentally, emotionally and verbally harassed me. I am mentioning the names of these criminals below.”

Names of the people: Rajesh Touchriver (Director), Siddique (Actor), Ashique Mahi (Photographer), Shiju (Actor), Abhil Dev (Kerala Fashion League founder), Ajay Prabhakar (Doctor), MS Padhush (Abuser), Sourabh Krishnan (Cyber Bully), Nandu Ashokan (Abuser, DYFI Unit Committee member, Nedunkar), Maxwell Jose (Short film director), Shanoob Karuvath and Chacko's Cakes (Ad director), Ragendh Pai (Cast Me Perfect, Casting Director), Sarun Leo (ESAF Bank Agent, Valiyathura), Binu (Sub Inspector of Police, Poonthura Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram)

Revathy’s post is now all over the internet. Her post received mixed reactions from the netizens, some people also said that it could be a publicity stunt and some are suggesting she should take legal action against these accuses.

Some of the netizens are lauding Revathy for exposing the names and on the other hand, some are criticizing her for not choosing a legal path. 

As per the work, Revathy Sampath, a 27-year-old Malayalam actor, made her debut in 2019 with the film ‘Patnagarh’. She has also worked in the 2018 film ‘Waft’, directed by Vishnu Udyan, which featured Syju John, Sampath and Ashish Shashidhar. 

Apart from being an actor, Sampath is an activist and psychologist.
