While the air is filled with chants of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on Friday, the whole Bollywood industry made sure to unite with their families and welcome Ganesha into their homes. 

The festival is celebrated prominently in the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Gujarat but the devotees of Lord Ganesha are everywhere. 

While all social media handles of actors and actresses were filled with posts in traditional outfits, we sure can take some inspiration from amazing collection 


From Shilpa Shetty, to Anupam Kher, everyone has brought Bappa home already. 


1.Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra was seen wearing a beautiful pink Kaftan set with polka dots in white. Shilpa is always known to rock every garment which she wears. Shetty’s daughter was seen twinning with her in the same garment and looked like an adorable mini version of Shilpa. The actress completed the look with some simple makeup and left her hair down. 



2.Next on the list is our young and favorite, Sara Ali Khan who celebrated the festival with mother Amrita Singh. The 26-year-old actress was seen wearing a stunning off white anarkali paired with a sharara with golden border. Sara completed the look with golden Jhumkaas and a little silver colored bindi.


3.Although Neil Nithin is a pure family man, his Instagram is spammed with adorable pictures and videos of his daughter. The young actor was recently photographed with family, bringing Bappa home early. On Friday, Neil posted pictures of his whole family dressed in cute traditional clothing celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. Neil was seen wearing mustard yellow kurta paired with a multicoloured waist coat, while daughter Nurvi was twinning with her father wearing yellow salwar. Neil’s wife, Rukmini Sahay wore a stunning pink suit matching it with husband Neil.


4.Shraddha Kapoor was seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with her family. The young actress went for a no makeup look along with saffron traditional outfit and shared pictures on her social media. Shraddha paired some jhumkaas to complete the look and looked adorable with Ganpati’s moorti. She also shared a picture of the eco friendly Ganpati that they brought home.


5.Another young celebrity who shared their cute outfit on social media along with Ganpati Bappa is Ananya Pandey. On Friday, Ananya Pandey shared a picture of herself wearing a yellow suit with white embroidery on it along with jhumkas compliments. The adorable picture with folded hands has had followers showering complements. 


6.On the list are our favorite couple in B’town, Genelia D Souza and Riteish Deshmukh. The couple were seen dressed in traditional to celebrate the festival. Genelia was seen wearing a stunning off white saree with floral prints pared with statement jewellery while Riteish was seen pulling off an off white kurta over white pajama. 



The whole Bollywood town’s favorite festival has always been uniting them with their loved ones and posting on social media with adorable captions. No matter what the festival, stepping in and putting fashion statements is Bollywood’s favorite thing to do. Of-course we love it! And we love talking about it!
