Gang-rape Dalit victim from Ajmer narrates her ordeal to the Police

After Uttar Pradesh reported two incidents of atrocities against women in just two days, another incident has come up from Ajmer, Rajasthan. A Dalit woman claimed that she had been gang-raped by 3 men on September 29 at a village in Ajmer. Reportedly, the woman is married and has approached the police the following day to lodge a complaint. 

According to the woman's ordeal, on September 29 she had gone to pay a visit to her mother, who was sick. On her way to Daurai village, a man identified as Teepu approached her. 

Teepu allegedly dragged the woman to a nearby field and raped her. After raping the woman, Teepu called two of his friends to the spot who also allegedly raped her.

Also, the Dalit victim was held hostage for hours by three men who then dropped her on a nearby road before absconding from the spot. The woman then headed over to her mother's home where she narrated her ordeal, according to the report of The Times of India. Following this, the woman went to the police station with her mother and lodged a case. 

The police has initiated a probe into the case and sent the woman for a medical examination.
