The incident took place at Piplanwala on Jalandhar Road, where bullets were fired on both sides during the skirmish. The deceased has been identified as Jaspreet Sajan, while the injured youth is named Channa, a resident of Gokul Nagar. Channa has been admitted to a private hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Reports suggest that there was a dispute between Satta and Sajan, and both had held a meeting at Piplanwala to resolve their issues. However, instead of resolving the dispute, the situation turned violent, and both sides called their respective gangs to the spot. Sajan and his gang were standing in the middle of the market on the Jalandhar Highway in Piplanwala when Channa and his associates arrived and opened fire. Sajan was hit directly in the head with two bullets, while two bullets hit Channa on the head as well.

The incident has caused panic among the locals, who fear more violence and escalation of the situation. The police are investigating the matter and have assured that the culprits will be brought to justice. However, such incidents of gang wars are a matter of concern and require strict action to ensure the safety and security of the people.
