Lawrence Bishnoi, a well-known gangster with activities in Punjab, Haryana, New Delhi, and Rajasthan, runs his group from prison. His name is showing up in more and more murder and extortion cases. He is good friends with Satwinder Singh aka Goldie Brar (currently based in Canada) and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, and the three of them are presently working together throughout Punjab and nearby areas. They have also involved many gang members from Rajasthan and Haryana. On social media, he recently claimed responsibility for the murder of SidhuMoosewala, claiming it was in retaliation for the death of Vicky Middukhera last year.

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has admitted that his gang was responsible behind the killing of Punjabi singer Shubhdep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala.
On May 29, while driving in a car, Moosewala was shot and killed. Over 30 rounds were fired at him by a dozen assailants. He was carried to the hospital, where he was proclaimed 'brought dead' by physicians.
According to the autopsy report, the Singer's body had 19 bullet wounds.
"He admitted that his group is responsible for the killing (of Moosewala), but he also stated that he was not directly involved because he is in jail," according to official sources.

Bishnoi, who is currently being held in Tihar jail on an MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act) charge, is accused of being involved in more than a half-dozen criminal cases in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab. He has previously threatened to assassinate Bollywood star Salman Khan.
Meanwhile, in an interview with a television programme, Sachin Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi's nephew, claimed responsibility for Moosewala's murder. Mossewala's assassination, he alleged, was retaliation for the assassination of Youth Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera last August. Vicky Middukhera was a close friend of Lawrence Bishnoi, according to sources.
