The dead body of dreaded gangster Harjinder Singh alias Vicky Gonder’s father has been found on the railway track of the Malout-Sri Ganganagar route. It was a few days back when the GRP staff found an unidentified dead body on the route and placed it identifying for over 72 hours in the mortuary.
After multiple sources were involved in the case it was later concluded that the body is of gangster Gonder’s father Mahal Singh who is a resident of Sarava Bodla. After identification, the police started further action. Police are probing whether Mahal committed suicide or was murdered.
Who was Vicky Gonder?
Harjinder Singh Bhullar aka Vicky Gonder was once a discus thrower. Harjinder Bhullar, a resident of Saranv Bodla village in Muktsar district, did his early education in the village itself. Staying here, he won medals in the discus throw game till the state level, but after that, he went to Jalandhar for further studies, and training and joined Speed Fund Academy.
He first entered the world of crime in 2008 when he came in contact with Navpreet alias Lovely Baba of the Academy. Lovely Baba was in contact with the infamous gangster Prem Lahoria and Sukha Kahlwan. Within a few days, Vicky also came close to these two gangsters and got involved in highway robberies.
Three gold medals at the national level:
Vicky won three gold medals and two silver medals at the national level. In the year 2010, when the criminal Sukha murdered Lovely Baba, both Vicky and Prem Lahoria wanted to take revenge. It was only after Lovely's murder that Sukha was caught by the police when Vicky and Prem attacked Sukha during his appearance in the Jalandhar court in January 2015. Sukha was killed in the shootout putting an end to their revenge.

Gonder came into the limelight after he escaped from Nabha jail. The Rajpura police had an encounter with him in the branch of Pakka Tibbi in Hindumal Kot village of Rajasthan. In this deadly faceoff, his companions Prema Lahoria and Sukhpreet Budha were also killed. Gonder and Lahoria died on the spot, while Budha succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
