Meanwhile, one of his videos is going viral on social media, in which he is seen talking about global star Diljit Dosanjh. In fact, rumours were circulating that there was a dispute between the GIppy Grewal and Diljit. However, Gippy has denied these reports and revealed the truth.
Gippy told YouTuber Siddharth Kannan's podcast that there is no such thing. Recalling an incident, Gippy Grewal said, “I remember we were in Punjab for an award show and singer Gurdas Maan was performing on stage. He stopped his performance midway saying that Diljit and Gippy look good together and we should perform together. After what people are saying, Diljit came on stage and clarified that there is nothing like that.”
When the singer was asked why they don't collaborate anymore, he replied that they worked together in 'Jinhe Mera Dil Lutya' when they started their careers. He said that the movie was a big hit. So Diljit and him had fixed their respective fees. After that, the producers found it very expensive to cast both of them together in the same film. Because of this they never got a chance to work together.
