In a shocking development, former Bigg Boss contestant & Bollywood actress Shehnaaz Gill's father on Saturday received death threats from a person claiming to be a Pakistani citizen. Shehnaaz Gill's father Santokh Singh reportedly received death threats via an unknown WhatsApp call. The person demanded Rs 50 lakh or else he would kill Santokh Singh. Shehnaaz Gill is a resident of Amritsar, Punjab.
As per reports, the person demanding ransom said that he has all the information about Santokh Singh & his family including where he lives, and what he does. The unknown person reportedly said that Shehnaaz Gill has earned a lot of money and if the ransom was not given then he would kill his actress daughter and then him. The caller also warned Santokh Singh to stop supporting Hindus.
On the other hand, SHO Gurvinder Singh of Beas police station was quoted saying that no complaint has been received in this matter. If a complaint is received then action will be taken. Santokh Singh already has gunmen.
For the unversed, Santokh Singh joined BJP in the year 2021. On 25 December 2021, Santokh was attacked by 2 unknown persons in Amritsar. They opened fire on Santokh. Both the youths had come riding on bikes. Santokh narrowly escaped the attack. Santokh Singh had also received a threat in October 2015. While going from Beas to Tarn Taran, Shehnaz Gill's father Santokh Singh had received a call.
