In a massive development, model-actress Poonam Pandey was arrested by the Goa Police on Thursday. Going by the reports, arrested in North Goa for shooting an obscene video. Poonam's arrest was made after FIR was filed against her by the women's wing of Goa Forward Party for shooting an adult video at Chapoli Dam. The complaint has been registered at Canacona Police Station in Goa.
Earlier, a police inspector was suspended on Thursday following outrage over actor Poonam Pandey's controversial photoshoot at a restricted dam site in South Goa, police said.
The protestors had threatened to close down the town of Canacona for a day, while demanding action for the alleged dereliction on part of the police. "Police inspector in-charge of the Canacona police station Tukaram Chavan has been suspended," Deputy Superintendent of Police Nelson Albuquerque told the protestors in Canacona.

After Poonam Pandey's arrest, social media has been divided. While few are praising the Goa Police, many are slamming for their double standard as they did not arrest Milind Soman who stripped himself on a beach on his birthday.
