'RRR, Zendaya & more': Golden Globe Awards 2023 complete list of winners

RRR's "Natu Natu" became the first song from India to win the iconic award, the film is also in the run for Oscars this year

On the grand Tuesday night, the mega 80th edition of the iconic Golden Globe Award concluded with “Natu Natu” from SS Rajamouli’s RRR creating history for India, apart from it the award night was bigger and notable for another reason.

The year’s award show was trying to recover from the racial exclusion scandal after a story published in 2021 Los Angeles Times dropped a bomb revealing that none of the 87 Hollywood Foreign Press members was Black.

Following the report, many tendered their disapproval of it coming from Tom Cruise who returned his Award, while NBC opted not to broadcast the ceremony.

After Jerrod Carmichael explained to the audience at the Beverly Hilton how he wound up as the host (spoiler: "I'm here because I'm Black," he quipped before launching into an intimate and lengthy story about his decision-making process), the trophy distribution began. The Banshees of Inisherin, which led all movies with eight nominations, struck up a meaningful friendship with Globes voters over the evening.

The award show last night presented some of the finest art on display last night giving fans and teams a grand moment to cherish which also included the RRR side going gaga over the announcement. The 1920s Irish-Island-set dark comedy took home the best comedy film trophy.

Whereas, Everything Everywhere All at Once entered with a grand six nominations, swept away in two dimensions. In addition, Murphys were honored: Five-time Globe winner Ryan Murphy was given the Carol Burnett Award and Eddie Murphy was handed the Cecil B. DeMille Award.

While Game of Thrones prequel House of the dragon also added to its feather by winning the best drama award and a lot turned up at the event last night, Check who won what at the event at the grand 80th edition.
