Lt Gov Manoj Sinha attends 'Viksit Bharat @2047', urges stakeholders to promote innovation among youth

Lt Gov expressed confidence in the student's ability to contribute to Visit Bharat's journey, stating that with opportunities and collaborative efforts, they will provide new impetus to the nation's development.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha participated in the 'Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth' workshop Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched on Monday. The workshop, held at Raj Bhawan Jammu, saw the active involvement of Vice Chancellors, Heads, and faculty members from premier institutions of J&K, who contributed valuable suggestions during a panel discussion on thematic areas to chart a roadmap for student involvement and contribution in 'Viksit Bharat@2047'.

Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister for fostering a robust education ecosystem and strengthening industrial-academic relations over the past nine years, the Lieutenant Governor emphasised the transformative potential of the youth in shaping the nation's future. He highlighted the youth's capacity to generate influential ideas to drive the development agenda and create a new societal vision.

The 'Voice of Youth' initiative, according to the Lieutenant Governor, aims to translate the imaginative innovation and ideas of the youth into reality. He urged Vice Chancellors and other stakeholders to devise a structured format and transformative agenda that empowers the youth to contribute to "Viksit Bharat" and positions J&K as a leading participant in this mission.

Emphasising the pivotal role of educational institutions in transforming developed countries, the Lieutenant Governor stressed the importance of focusing on cost-effective technology and the viability of new initiatives to propel the journey of Viksit Bharat. He underscored the workshop's potential to act as a guiding force in accelerating growth. He highlighted the role of teamwork and collaborative creativity of students in driving societal participation and sharing the gains from technical skills and knowledge.
