Government of Pakistan’s official Twitter account banned in India over THIS reason

In the latest development, the Twitter account of the Government of Pakistan has been withheld in India by the government. This is the second time in a row. Earlier, as well Twitter account of Govt of Pakistan was banned but restored a few months back. Now, again as soon as you try to open their Twitter handle it shows that the current account has been withheld over legal response.

Till now, no official confirmation has come out on why his account has been suspended. As per the Twitter guidelines, the Twitter account of the Government of India has been withheld based on a valid legal demand made by concerned officials. Currently, the Twitter feed of the Pakistan government "@GovtofPakistan" will now not be visible to Indian users. Reportedly, the Govt of Pakistan’s Twitter account was banned earlier in July. Along with Twitter, their YouTube channel was also banned for posting anti India fake information.

From the time crackdown on Amritpal Singh has begun, Indian government has suspended various Twitter accounts for the users. Recently, Twitter account of BBC News Punjabi was withheld in India by the government. The Twitter account of BBC News Punjabi was suspended in India due to its anti-India propaganda. Prior to this, various Pro-Khalistan Twitter accounts were withheld in India. Some Twitter accounts of famous foreign leaders who are significantly known for anti-India comments were suspended in India to maintain harmony in the country. These Twitter accounts include Canada’s New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh, Canadian poet Rupi Kaur, the voluntary organization United Sikhs, and Canada-based activist Gurdeep Singh Sahota.
