Jaipur: The Gujjar community which is agitating since nine days for fulmilment of their demands of five per cent reservation in educational institutes and government jobs has ended its stir on Saturday.

Kirori Singh Bainsla, the convenor of Gujjar Reservation Committee has announced to end the agitation after the state Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh reached the venue and handed over a five-point draft to the former. A committe member then read the draft aloud, following which Colonel Bainsla ordered unblocking of the areas where the community members were staging demonstrations.

On February 10th, a section of the Gujjar community had erected tents in protest on railway tracks near Malarna Dungaar station in Maksudanpura village of Sawai Madhopur district due to which several trains have been cancelled and many had been diverted in the Kota division.
