The Indian film producer Guneet Monga expressed her happiness over getting her film 'Period. End of Sentence' nominated for the Oscars 2019.
'Period. End of Sentence' is a movie set in India which revolves around the taboos around women's menstruation and features the real life 'Padman' Arunachalam Muruganantham.
The film has been nominated among the top five nominees in the category of Documentary Short Subject.
"Started with a small dream in the English department room of @melissa_berton with her school girls of @oakwoodstories for empowering and educating other young girls across the world for better menstruation hygiene," Guneet Monga posted on her Instagram account.
