Chaar-Cut Atmaram is the name of the character played by Gulshan Devaiah. Atmaram is hired by Naved, who is the opium king of Sherpur to kill Babu Tiger, the most dangerous man of the Ganchi gang. The seven-episode series starts with Chaar-Cut Atmaram killing Babu Tiger. Notably, Babu Tiger also happens to be the father of 'Panna' Tipu who is played by Rajkummar Rao. Atmaram uses the tagline 'Chaar-Cut' because he kills everyone with 4 four cuts with his knife. The first attack is meant to cleanse the soul of the target. The second is for the forgiveness of sins. The third is for liberation from this world of allure. During the fourth and final attack, the soul crosses the Vaitarna River forever. He passed out in it screaming for help but no one came. Suddenly, he wakes up and see an elderly man who blesses him with 7 lives. Thereafter he goes to kill his own father.

Is Chaar-Cut Atmaram Alive?

(Spoilers ahead) Although the series has shown 'Panna' Tipu killing Chaar-Cut Atmaram by his own gun, the makers indeed showcased that there are supernatural powers in Chaar-Cut Atmaram. Chaar-Cut Atmaram's unusual speed when Tipu was trying to kill him establishes the fact that Gulshan's character was indeed gifted and it won't be any surprise if his character returns again in season 2 of Guns & Gulabs. Another hint is that although Chaar-Cut Atmaram's body flew away at some distance by being hit by a bullet, his lucky pendant was indeed with him.
