Gunshots fired by a youth near jallokhana In Kapurthala city, when he stopped by excise team while carrying illegal liquor with him.city police reached the spot and detained a youth. Confirming this, City Police Station in-charge Amandeep Nahar said that two empty shells have been recovered from the spot. While the matter of 4 rounds of firing has come to the fore. At present no one is injured in this incident.
City police station in-charge Amandeep Nahar told that just a while back a young man was carrying two bottles of illegal liquor in Jallokhana Chowk. While pitching the same, the Excise Department team also reached the spot and the young man was stopped. After which the accused youth opened fire.
He also said that at present, while investigating the case, the accused youth Chahat Sood has been taken into custody.
