Earlier Gurdas Maanhas been in controversy even before this. Even then, Gurdas Maan wasstrongly opposed. He had recently made a statement about the Punjabilanguage which had caused him controversy. In this case, he had respondedto a person from the stage in bad language. As a result, he was widelycriticized.
He was also notallowed to speak at the farmers’ dharna from the Singhu border stage. Althoughstage managers were ready to give him time, youngsters in gathering strongly opposedthe idea.
While some accuseMaan of speaking late in farmers’ support, this, however, is not the reasonbehind the anger of those protesting against him. Strange as it may sound, thelegendary singer’s detractors accuse him of disrespecting Punjabi language.
Now the latest controversy is Nakodar. Arriving at the famous fair here,Gurdas Maan claimed that the background of Baba's descendants was connectedwith the generation of Shri Guru Amar Das Ji. Its video is going viral onsocial media.
