Navjot Singh Sidhu's troubles aren't going away after his defeat in the Punjab Legislative Assembly elections. Harish Chaudhary, the Congress's Punjab affairs in charge, has written a letter to the party's high command, asking to take action against Navjot Singh Sidhu's activities.

He wrote the letter on the recommendation of Punjab President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring. In the letter, he mentioned that Sidhu continuously criticized the functioning of the Congress Government terming it corrupt. He said Sidhu is hand in glove with the Shrimoni Akali Dal. He also mentioned that the actions of Sidhu at the assumption of the office ceremony of Raja Warring are also inexcusable.

He also wrote that an explanation must be sought from Sidhu as to why a disciplinary proceeding should not be initiated against.

It may be recalled that questions have been raised for a long time regarding the responsibilities of the President of the Punjab Congress Committee. First Sunil Jakhar and then Navjot Singh Sidhu had to resign from the post of President due to non-fulfillment of their responsibilities.
