The actress Upasana Singh filed a lawsuit against Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu and 14 other people, and it has been "adjourned" until February.

Sandhu's and others' written declarations, which have formed the party in the dispute, are to be recorded. In response to the controversy surrounding the Punjabi movie "Bai Ji Kuttange," Upasana Singh filed a lawsuit against the model in the Chandigarh court on August 4. As payment for the damage done to the movie, Upasana Singh has asked for Rs 1 crore.

When discussing the damages, Upasana Singh said, "My film's release date was May 27, and for us, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu's selection as Miss Universe was the biggest day of our life. In honour of her, we had a party. Everyone was aware of our strong relationship. She stopped returning my calls once I informed her that the promotional dates for my movie are around May 27. Then I started contacting her and inquiring about the movie's May 27 release. Tell me when I can expect to receive promotions. She ignored my emails after I started sending them to her.”

Additionally, Upasana Singh asserted that she changed the release date of Bai Ji Kuttange from May 27 to August 19 in the hopes that Harnaaz Sandhu would agree to participate in promotions.

“It appears that Harnaaz is currently being overshadowed by Punjabi actors and the business as a whole. She claimed to be a proud Punjabi when she won the pageant, but she backed off when it came to helping the business and promoting it internationally. Drama is all around us right now. Hollywood and Bollywood, ki padi hai. Her place in the Punjabi cinema business is too small. Mein Sunna, that log change ho jaate hain, Aaj dekh rahi hun!" exclaims Singh.

Going forward, according to Upasana Singh, the court will summon Harnaaz Sandhu.

At the most recent hearing for the matter, the Civil Judge of the Chandigarh District Court stated that he must travel to Hyderabad from December 5 to December 9 in order to take part in a training course called "Cyber Security Investigation." In light of this, the case hearing date has now been set for February 7.
