Haryana Police on Wednesday fired a barrage of tear gas & rubber bullets on farmers trying to go to New Delhi. Over 14,000 farmers resumed their Delhi Chalo march after farmers' union leaders rejected the Centre's offer to buy a series of crops on MSP for the next five years. The farmers' unions have demanded MSP of at least 23 crops. As a result, the farmers brought heavy vesicles including JCPs, cranes, modified tractors, and more so that they could uproot any barricades and obstacles.

Now, a video is going viral on social media in which protesting farmers were seen running in all directions after Haryana Police and other security forces fired a barrage of tear gas on them. The firing took place at the Sambhu Border.

Notably, while the farmers and Haryana Police are at loggerheads, Union Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda called another round of meetings with the farmer union leaders. Munda said, "We want to do good and several opinions can be given for doing so, as we always welcome good opinions... But to find a way on how that opinion will be fruitful, the only way is conversation. Through conversation, a solution will surely come out...In the 5th round of meeting, we are ready to talk with farmers and discuss issues like MSP, stubble, FIR, and crop diversification. I appeal to them to maintain peace and we should find a solution through dialogue."

In response, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said, "We will confirm soon... We will think of the talks after a discussion..."
