On Tuesday, the manhunt for Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh entered day 4 and the State Police are still not able to nab the 'fugitive' pro-Khalistan leader. However, there are multiple developments that happened in the context of Amritpal Singh. First, Punjab CM addressed the state and assured the public that his government will not let the law & order go out of control and will take strict action against those trying to disturb the peace of Punjab. Apart from this, the Punjab & Haryana High Court rapped the state government on a habeas corpus petition filed by Waris Punjab De legal advisor and asked the government how Amritpal Singh escaped from the clutches of 80,000 policemen. However, it was the IGP Sukhchain Singh Gill's Press conference that raised many eyebrows when he did not rule out that Amritpal Singh might be in disguise. Not only this, during the press conference, Punjab Police also released a series of photos of Amritpal Singh with different looks hinting that the Waris Punjab De Chief might have changed his looks to dodge the Police. However, IGP Sukhchain Gill stated that what attire or look Amritpal Singh is currently possessing can only be known after his arrest.

He also left his sword in the Gurudwara. This came to be known in questioning of the 4 people who have been nabbed."

"The Brezza car, in which Amritpal Singh fled, has been recovered by the Police. He was helped by four people..National Security Act (NSA) has been invoked against Amritpal Singh...A non-bailable warrant has been issued against him on 18th March. Police is working as per law.
