Headmasters association submits memorandum to minister

They demanded from the minister that keeping in view their teaching experience in the department, their request of reducing the duration of probation period should be accepted.

The Amritsar unit of Directly Recruited Headmasters Association, Punjab led by Vinod Kumar, president, today, submitted a memorandum to the cabinet minister, Dr Raj Kumar Verka, urging the state government to reduce the duration of probation period to one year. 

The delegation, comprising, Deepika Dean, vice president, Gurpreet Singh, Gurjinder Singh, Aman Bajwa, Navneet Kaur, Poonam, apprised the minister that all of them had been serving the department for more than eight years before clearing the competitive exam conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission for direct recruitment of headmasters. They demanded from the minister that keeping in view their teaching experience in the department, their request of reducing the duration of probation period should be accepted.
