Hearing on the Punjab government's security reduction leak will be held today in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. In the HC, the Punjab government will submit a sealed report. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government stated during the previous hearing that it is having the matter probed. This issue came up following the death of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. After the security was reduced, Moosewala was killed the very following day.

Then, the opponents alleged that Moosewala was murdered as a result of security breaches. Later, sharpshooters said that mobster Goldie Brar had informed them that Moosewala's security had been removed and that he would be killed on May 29.

Regarding the security leak, the High Court has received 28 petitions. Security was severely reduced as soon as the AAP government took control. Details like whose security, how much security, how much was taken away from them, and how many gunmen remained with them were made public. Aam Aadmi Party publicized a lot, calling it action on VIP culture. However, the leaders whose security was withdrawn filed a petition in the High Court.
