Here's why Rahul Gandhi and CM Capt Amarinder Singh are being trolled over tractor-rallies | Congress,Punjab,Farmers-Protest- True Scoop

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday has flagged off a three-day tractor rally in Punjab to support the farmers who are protesting against the newly formed farm laws. The tractor rally on October 5 has entered into second-day and will observe the last protest under the campaign, "Kisaan Bachao Yatra" on Tuesday.

Reportedly, these rallies would cover over 50 km by traveling through various districts and constituencies.

Although state opposition parties are criticizing Rahul Gandhi and Congress leadership for raising their voices late in the favour of farmers, the viral pictures and videos of customized tractors are being made a matter of mockery.

What was weird about that?

As the tractor rally kick-started, one thing which caught the attention of the public was a customized tractor with a make-shift sofa seat to give leaders a comfort ride during his rally.

And in no time, netizens started to troll him. Even some of them compared Gandhi's bizarre seating arrangement on the tractor to the scene from popular British sitcom Mr. Bean wherein Rowan Atkinson, who portrayed Mr. Bean character, comically drives his car through the town while sitting atop of it on a sofa.

Not only this, but netizens especially from Punjab compared Rahul Gandhi's comfort tractor rallies to the farmers' hard work in the fields and their fear of scrapping agriculture by the NDA with these new laws.

Meanwhile, Gandhi is scheduled to visit Haryana on October 6 and 7 to continue the tractor rallies. On the first day, his rally will enter Pehowa in Haryana from the Punjab border. In Pehowa, he will address the public meeting, state Congress president Kumari Selja said.

After this, Rahul Gandhi will go to Kurukshetra and halt there for the night. The following day his journey will start from Pipli Mandi from where he will proceed to Nilokheri and after that, he will go to Karnal, where the tractor rally will culminate, she said.
