Hoshiarpur groom’s house attacked by nearly dozen assailants a day after wedding

More than a dozen assailants attacked the family that testified in a two-year-old attempt to murder case in Tanda Urmud town of Hoshiarpur in Punjab. There was a wedding on March 11 in the house where the attack took place. First, bricks and stones were pelted from outside the house, then they entered the house and broke things with sharp weapons. During this, the accused also fired shots inside the house.

 

The groom and his father were injured in the incident. Some videos of the entire incident have also surfaced in which the accused can be seen attacking the . Police of Tanda station have started investigating the case.

 

Jaswinder Singh, a resident of Rani Pind village of Tanda Udmur, told the police that the marriage of his son Maninder Singh was going on in his house. Due to this, many guests had come to the house. Yesterday, like every day, the whole family was sitting in the courtyard of the house. At around 6:30 in the evening, a dozen attackers started pelting stones. At the time of the incident, the family was sitting in the courtyard of the house and counting the ‘shagun’ received at the wedding.

 

It is alleged that the accused also fired in the air inside the house while attacking. The groom and his father were badly injured in the incident. Who have been admitted to the government hospital in Tanda for treatment. The family has accused village resident Surjeet Singh and his sons Mandeep Singh, Dalveer Singh, Amrik Singh, Gurnek Singh and Mandeep Singh of the attack.
