A Hoshiarpur man in Mahilpur entered the house of hisin-laws forcefully and killed his wife due to a discord between them. Accordingto reports, he also badly hurt his mother in law and father in law.
The police reached on the spot and arrested the accused,as per a report. Hardeep Kumar, the accused is an employee of railways. He is aresident of a village near Phagwara.
Reportedly, he killed his wife, Asha Rani by entering herhome in village Bhagora at Mahilpur.
After hearing screams of the family members, the localstook them to hospitals but the accused eloped.
Asha Rani died on the spot but her parents are fatallywounded. Asha Rani and the accused have three children who are living in aforeign country.
The prime reason for the murder of Rani is still notclear.
