The horryfying murder of popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala brought focus back on the rise of gangsters in the state of Punjab both by his killing and songs representation."

She said many youths indulged in aggressive and antisocial behaviour to give an impression of being tough in the socio-cultural context.Media works on supply demand graphs, what punjabi media showcases it is equally consumed by youth in the city. So we can't blame the entertainment industry only.We need to bring change first on our choices of entertainment."

Kusum Sharma says" Public personalities have a great impact on people. They are getting all the respect, honour, prestige, strength from society, but in return what they are giving to society other than entertainment, becomes very important. Social media, movies, songs all should be in postive spirit as maybe an 18 year old youth watching it can get infulenced."
