With the winter reaching its peak in India, the cases of heart-attack is also rising. Although heart-attack cases have been observed all around the year, winters generally amp up the issue. It has been oserved that after suffering heart attack, many patients could reach hospital timely and this resulted in their death. To counter this problem, Kanpur's LPS Cardiology hospital has come up with a unique initiative and developed a 'Ram Kit' that can actually help those patients. Just like Lord Ram keeps his blessing on everyone, LSP Cardiology Hospital's Ram Kit will help patients with heart problems. Now, the question arises what is Ram Kit and how it is beneficial for heart patients?

 

What is Ram Kit?

 

Ram Kit is basically a packet worth Rs 7 in which emergency and basic medicines for heart patients have been kept. LPS Cardiology Hospital of Kanpur is the largest heart hospital in Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Neeraj Kumar of the hospital was quoted by a news portal saying that he has prepared a 'Ram Kit' for just Rs 7, which contains three medicines. If the patient takes these three medicines as soon as he or she has a heart attack, their life can be saved.

 

Doctor Neeraj Kumar informed that three medicines Ecosprin, Sorbitrate and Rosuvas 20 tablets are kept in the kit of Rs 7. By giving these medicines in case of a heart attack, the chances of saving the patient's life become very high.'This medicine kit has been named after Ram so that people do not face difficulty in naming the medicines," said Dr. Neeraj. 

 

Furthermore, Neeraj Kumar stated that the second reason is that everyone has faith in the name of Ram, there is a trust among the people. That's why we have named it Ram Kit.

 

Talking about some data, NCRB 2022 report suggest that India has witnessed 12 percent increase in heart attack deaths. Over 32,457 individuals died due to heart attacks in 2022, stated the NCRB report.
