It has been confirmed that the hot-pink mansion seen in Malibu this weekend is, in fact, Barbie's DreamHouse, which will make a triumphant return on July 21 with the debut of Warner Bros.' Barbie movie. Warner Bros. has partnered with Airbnb for two one-night stays beginning July 21. The listing is hosted by none other than Ken, who claims that Barbie has given him the keys to her Malibu home while she is abroad this summer and that he has done some interior changes to better reflect his Kenergy.

When can you book for the Airbnb?

Booking opens at 10 a.m. PT on Monday, July 17. One-night stays for up to two guests on July 21 and July 22, 2023.

An aerial footage shows a three-story home with the famous dance floor and a pink slide that leads to a luxurious zero-edge pool with enormous floating letters spelling out "K-E-N." On what appears to be a step-and-repeat, Mattel's iconic sunburst Barbie emblem can be seen, as if that weren't obvious enough. Strangely, though, the name “Ken” seems to be written in blue over the top of “Barbie.”

With animal skin rugs, leather throw cushions, and a life-size toy horse, Ken has decorated the interior of the rooms to resemble the wild, wild west. The pink gingham designs and dresses that are frequently seen in Barbie's closet are replaced by fringe and cowboy boots. Ken even took it upon himself to replace one of the doors with a saloon entrance that says "Kendom Saloon."

All about the upcoming movie:

The next live-action Barbie, which is being directed by Greta Gerwig, stars Margot Robbie as the title doll going through an existential crisis and travelling from Barbie Land to the real world in quest of solutions.
