Hrithik Roshan congratulates Rajinikanth for Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Legendary actor Rajinikanth has been honored with the 51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his unbeatable contribution to Indian cinema. Union Minister for Information and broadcasting, Prakash Javedkar confirmed the news through his Twitter account yesterday while writing a congratulating note.

As soon as this news broke out people from around the country have been sending wishes to the legend. From PM Narendra Modi to south Indian actors Mahesh babu every famous personality is sending their heartiest congratulations to Rajinikanth.

Congratulating for the same Hrithik Roshan took to his Twitter handle and posted an unseen black and white picture with the legend Rajinikanth. The Bollywood Krrish wrote a heartfelt note, “my dearest @rajinikanth Sir. Your Aura and persona compliments the prestige of the Dadasaheb Phalke award. Makes me so happy to have yet another reason to celebrate your legend. Lots of love and respect, as I continue to look up to your greatness”. The picture shows a kid version of Hritik.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his greetings through a tweet referring to him as Thalaiva. Here’s what the PM posted:


Going through all the wishes and greetings Rajinikanth left a lengthy note for all the political associates and film fraternity people who congratulated him. He wrote, “I wholeheartedly thank the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for conferring me Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest award in the Indian Film Industry.”  He also thanked his film fraternity friends for wishing me luck and always keeping him in prayers.
