'Human' is a medical thriller based on human drug trials in India, it sheds light on the collateral damage due to fast-tracked drug trials for financial gains as innocent lives are lost to greed. Touching compelling themes like the value of human life, medical malpractice, class divide and ramifications of fast-paced medical science, 'Human' brings forth the greed to make money in a compelling tale of power struggles, secretive pasts, trauma and murders.

From evil pharma to drug trials, from human guinea pigs to medicine mafias, human has a lot to offer its viewers. Set in tragically scarred Bhopal, 'Human' is a twisted, dark, and psychologically disturbing 10-episode series that unravels the secrets of the medical world relating to clinical drug trials. The series is an eye-opener about how the medical world works.

 The series begins with a scene where we are shown dead guinea pigs surreptitiously discarded into a water body and later a victim of a clinical drug trial suffering. 

Shefali Shah is the show stealer. She comes up with brilliant performance on screen. She simply takes over the world because of the way she moulds herself into the character. Her character of Dr Gauri Nath in ‘Human’ is full of layers and the complexities.

Kirti Kulhari did equally well. She feels grateful to be an actor as it allows her to portray and touch many lives with her work. Kirti Kulhari, who essays the role of Dr Saira Sabarwal in the upcoming medical thriller series 'Human', revealed that her part gave her a new perspective towards the medical professionals.

 
The series stars Shefali Shah, Kirti Kulhari, Vishal Jethwa, Ram Kapoor, Seema Biswas, Aditya Srivastava and Mohan Agashe. Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Mozez Singh, 'Human' has been penned by Mozez Singh and Ishani Banerjee. The series is available on Disney+ Hotstar from January 14.
