Hyderabad Fire: 11 migrant workers found dead in 'Massive fire outburst'; PMNRF announces ₹ 2 Lakhs compensation

PM Modi condoled the death of people in the massive fire in Bhoiguda, Hyderabad. PM Modi tweeted and wrote that in this hour of grief, my condolences are with the bereaved families.

A massive fire broke out in a scrap godown in Bhoiguda, Hyderabad, capital of Telangana, in which 11 labourers were burnt alive. All the labourers who died are said to be residents of Bihar and used to work in the junk warehouse here.
 
At the same time, Hyderabad DCP Central Zone, who was present on the spot, told that all the 11 bodies have been taken out and taken to the hospital for post-mortem. At present, the fire has been brought under control. 

Telangana CM KC Rao has condoled the death of workers of Bihar in the fire. He announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin and directed the Chief Secretary to make arrangements to bring back the bodies of the workers killed in the incident.

PM Modi condoled the death of people in the massive fire in Bhoiguda, Hyderabad. PM Modi tweeted and wrote that in this hour of grief, my condolences are with the bereaved families. An ex-gratia amount of Rs 2 lakh each will be given by PMNRF to the kin of the deceased.  

The labourers were trapped due to the closure of the shutter

According to the police, 12 labourers were sleeping on the first floor of the junk warehouse. Suddenly a fire broke out on the ground floor. The only way out for the workers was through the junk shop on the ground floor whose shutters were closed. 


By 8 am today, 11 bodies were recovered, while one labourer who managed to escape was sent to the hospital. According to police, the fire control room received an alert around 3 am and nine fire tenders worked for over three hours to douse the fire.

Fibre cables caught fire in the godown 

Due to which thick smoke spread and the intensity of the fire increased further. Empty liquor bottles, paper, plastic and other cables were also kept in the godown. 

There were two rooms on the first floor and all 11 bodies were recovered from one room. were lying on top of each other. The bodies have not been identified.
