K-pop boyband iKon under YG Entertainment is one of the most popular K-pop groups in South Korea. Known for their distinct style in hip-hop music, the group made a place for themselves in the cut-throat competitive scenes in K-pop. While all the members of the idol group are equally loved by the fans, touted as one of the most popular members of the group, Bobby took his fans by surprise with his recent announcement on Instagram.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Bobby penned a hand-written note that read, "Hello, this is iKON's Bobby. I have something to tell everyone today, so I am sharing this letter after a lot of thought."
He added, "I have promised to marry the person I love, and I will become a father in September. I am happy to be welcoming a new member to my family."
Acknowledging the confusion among his fans, he apologised and said, "I am
more sorry to my fans who will feel confused due to my sudden news. I should
have told you about this sooner, but I am sorry for the delay in sharing this
news as I was very worried about this. I sincerely apologize to those who have
been hurt or feel very confused by this."

Penning a few words for his iKON members, fans and parents, he said, "The
people who have become necessities in my life even though I am lacking, I will
strive to become a person who will not bring shame to my fans or my parents. I
will also do my best to not become a distraction to our fans and the iKON
members who are waiting for iKON's activities."
The news spread like wildfire making netizens elated. Many took to social media to congratulate the rapper and wish him luck.
