K-pop boyband iKonunder YG Entertainment is one of the most popular K-pop groups in South Korea.Known for their distinct style in hip-hop music, the group made a place forthemselves in the cut-throat competitive scenes in K-pop. While all the membersof the idol group are equally loved by the fans, touted as one of the mostpopular members of the group, Bobby took his fans by surprise with his recentannouncement on Instagram.
Taking to hisInstagram handle, Bobby penned a hand-written note that read, "Hello, thisis iKON's Bobby. I have something to tell everyone today, so I am sharing thisletter after a lot of thought."
He added, "Ihave promised to marry the person I love, and I will become a father inSeptember. I am happy to be welcoming a new member to my family."
Acknowledging the confusion among his fans, he apologised and said, "I ammore sorry to my fans who will feel confused due to my sudden news. I shouldhave told you about this sooner, but I am sorry for the delay in sharing thisnews as I was very worried about this. I sincerely apologize to those who havebeen hurt or feel very confused by this."
Penning a few words for his iKON members, fans and parents, he said, "Thepeople who have become necessities in my life even though I am lacking, I willstrive to become a person who will not bring shame to my fans or my parents. Iwill also do my best to not become a distraction to our fans and the iKONmembers who are waiting for iKON's activities."
