In another case of an Indian fighter jet crash, a MiG-27 has crashed on Sunday in Sirohi region of Rajasthan. Though the pilot has ejected himself safely and no loss of life or property has been reported yet.

The aircraft had taken off from Uttarlai Air Force base in Barmer after which the pilot reported a technical fault in the engine and ejected safely in Sirohi region which is almost 120 kms south of Jodhpur.

A court of inquiry has been appointed to probe into the accident and investigate its cause. This has raised some serious questions over the aircrafts of the Indian Air Force as it is the ninth jet crash in last three months.

The other crashed aircrafts include one Jaguar fighter-bomber, two Hawk fighters, two MiG-27 UPGs, one MiG-21 Bison fighter, one upgraded win-seat Mirage 2000 and two Surya Kiran jets which collided in the Aero India 2019.

However, it is not the case that the Air Force might of IAF is questionable, but the technology provided to the force is expected to be the finest so that these crashes due to technical fault can be tackled.
