ICMR clears the air of Covid-19 being airborne, India records 3374 positive cases with 79 casualties

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare today in a press briefing confirmed that India has recorded 3374 positive cases of novel coronavirus including 79 deaths which were reported in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu .

Also,the Indian Council of Medical Research official cleared the air of Covid-19 being an airborne infection and said, "If this was an airborne infection not droplet infection, every person in a family would be infected, same would apply for other patients in a hospital."

In its daily briefing, Lav Aggarwal, joint secretary, Health Ministry, said 472 new cases and 11 deaths have been reported since yesterday.

Taking note of the Global trend nearly 1,215,690 people are infected with deadly Covid-19 including 65,659 deaths across world.

USA, Spain, Italy, Germany and France are among the most affected countries.
