Jalandhar, February 9
On thedirections of Special Director General of Police (DGP) PAP, Iqbal Preet SinghSahota, two open-air gyms were dedicated to the police families by InspectorGeneral of Police (IGP) PAP MF Farooqui in PAP Complex on Tuesday.
Accompanied by the commandant 7thbattalion of PAP Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh, IGP MF Farooqui said that theproject of setting up open air-gyms have come up in a record time withdedicated efforts put by commandant 7th battalion of PAP.
He said that in today’s worldeveryone is concerned about their health and these open-air gyms would fulfillthe need for regular exercise and workouts.
He revealed that more than 1200families of police employees are living inside the PAP complex.
Meanwhile, Harkamal Preet SinghKhakh said that not only the youngsters but the elderly persons as well aswomen would be benefitted by exercising in the fresh air through open-airgyms.
He said that they will remain fitand healthy and will not have to pay a penny for exercising.
