World Economic Forum: Imran Khan, Donald Trump hold talks on 'Kashmir' in Davos

Imran Khan said that Pakistan is a "supporter and foremost promoter of peace in the region and insisted that it will continue to play its role in the region." Donald Trump said Imran Khan was a good friend. He said Afghan peace and the situation in Jammu and Kashmir will be discussed during the meeting.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Tuesday met US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. As per the official statement, the two leaders discussed 'issues of mutual interest, regional security, Kashmir issue and the 'Afghan peace process' during the meeting.

Imran Khan said that Pakistan is a "supporter and foremost promoter of peace in the region and insisted that it will continue to play its role in the region." Donald Trump said Imran Khan was a good friend. He said Afghan peace and the situation in Jammu and Kashmir will be discussed during the meeting.

"We will discuss the situation in Kashmir," said US President Trump.
