The Income Tax department on Monday morning raided famous Punjabi singers Kanwar Grewal and Ranjit Bawa’s house. Heavy CRPF and police forces have been deployed outside their residences and movement outside or inside are also restricted.
Reportedly, the IT department started its investigation at Ranjit Bawa’s residence early in the morning. The raid took place at 4 places in Batala and from then movement inside the residence is completely restricted. Along with this heavy police force has been deployed outside Ranjeet Bawa’s residence. IT along with the residence of Ranjit Bawa has also raided his PA Deputy Vohra’s house.
Till now, no information regarding the raid at Ranjit Bawa’s residence has been released by the Income Tax department officials.
