Melbourne: India, unexpectedly not enforcing follow-on, have an overall lead of runs at the Stumps of Day 3 of the Boxing day test. Bowling out the Australians on 151 runs, the Indian captain Virat Kohli didn't enforce a follow-on and started their second innings in order to score some quick runs to add a scoreboard pressure on the Australia.

However, Pat Cummins wreaked havoc claiming 4 wickets and India are 54 for the loss of 5 wickets. A total of 15 wickets fell on Day 3 of the Melbourne test.
Earlier in the day, Jasprit Bumrah claimed 6 wickets to get the Aussies on the backfoot.
India are in a strong position in the test match with a healthy lead and a deteriorating pitch. Mayank Aggarwal and Rishabh Pant are at the crease.
