India 57/1 at lunch, Debutant Mayank Aggarwal and Pujara at crease

Vihari played the makeshift opener facing 66 balls before falling to Cummins

Melbourne: The Indian batting line-up has done reasonably well to see off the new ball and are at 57-1 at lunch of day 1 of the Boxing Day test.

Pujara and Mayank are solid at the crease with a partnership of 17 runs. The makeshift opener Hanuma Vihari did well to see off the new ball playing 66 balls. 

India won the toss and opted to bat first.
